  The worst dining experience I have ever had.
  I was willing to overlook the fine dining prices with casual dining meals 'IF' the experience was pleasurable but it wasn't. So wasn't!
  For starters the room was nearly empty, 15 customers at the most, however there was a wedding next door which obviously took priority. There was no indication that dinner would take longer then normal so we enjoyed our cocktails.
  After 20 minutes we noticed no one had their meals and everyone seemed upset.
  After an hour we enquired about our meal and was told 3 minutes. After another 10 minutes we received our small over priced meals.
  Once we inhaled them we were ready to pay the bill, but were ignored at the register.
  When we asked to see the manager and see what she could discount on the bill, she offered us free desert if we wanted to sit and wait some more. We declined and were offered us $17 off our bill, even after explaining I'm a diabetic and my sugar levels had been dropping!
  What a mistake choosing The Avalon for our 1 year wedding anniversary.
  Never, ever book here!!
